Glitz and glamour came to Bexhill College when art/textile students from the college and models from St Richard’s Catholic College, Pestalozzi International Village and Bexhill High amongst others came together on the catwalk for our annual fashion show.
FASHION SHOW in conjunction with Bexhill College – Friday 22 March 2013
Fairtrade, ethical and recycled fashions, including original designs by current Bexhill College students and ex student Zahra Rose. Plus Fairtrade stalls – information, crafts, food, cosmetics and accessories.
This year was our fifth year of collaboration and the fashion show has gone from strength to strength. Original ‘recycled’ designs by Zahra Rose who modelled her collection for us for the first time last year, had a new collection on show.

WE ARE A FAIRTRADE TOWN!
Bexhill-on-Sea received Fairtrade Town Status in 2007 and has been championing the way ever since for global poverty but by making a difference locally.
The steering committee has worked hard to receive this recognition and continue to do so – meeting on a regular basis to organise events, raise awareness and expand the number of businesses/retailers using and selling Fairtrade products. Once again we have achieved Fairtrade Town status in late 2012 and are currently busy keeping to our action plan!
