Bexhill-on-Sea received Fairtrade Town Status in 2007 and has been championing the way ever since for global poverty but by making a difference locally.

The steering committee has worked hard to receive this recognition and continue to do so – meeting on a regular basis to organise events, raise awareness and expand the number of businesses/retailers using and selling Fairtrade products.  Once again we have achieved Fairtrade Town status in late 2012 and are currently busy keeping to our action plan!
Please take a look at the ‘Where To Buy’ page and the ‘Who is Using’ page to see what the committee have done for Bexhill-on-Sea.  For more information about Fairtrade products and the campaign to combat poverty please see the Fairtrade Foundation website.
We are all proud to be part of making a difference. If you would like to make a difference please contact us today. Whether you can offer to help the committee in some way or if you are a business owner who would like more information.  Email us at: committee@bexhillfairtrade.org.uk
For more information about some of the cafés and restaurants using/serving Fairtrade products please see the Official Guide to Bexhill-on-Sea, 2011 or visit the Discover Bexhill website: www.discoverbexhill.com
